YES, you can take your car on the beach. In fact, if you don’t you will have trouble finding a street parking space where you won’t be towed and you will have to walk one mile or more to the overnight camping area to the south. Your car should be suited for driving in deep sand (4×4, or at least high clearance and fat tires recommended). Make sure to park well off the tide–it comes up surprisingly far at high tide and your camp can be inundated! Air down your tires until they bulge out for better sand driving. Bring a tow strap, just in case. Someone will almost always help if you get stuck–it’s part of the fun if it happens! I got stuck just last week in my Saturn! No biggie.

If your car is marginal (like my Saturn), keep on the packed sand near the water on your drive in. You’ll still have to park in deep sand to be above high tide to camp. Try not to turn in deep sand–always go straight. When you find a spot to park, turn your car and back into it like a parking space, driving straight. Thus, you can drive straight out or be pulled straight out.

If you get stuck, don’t despair. Usually you can dig out with your hands–push sand away from the front of your tires and sides so they have a nice flat area. Push sand away from any frame members or other parts underneath so nothing is dragging. Have someone push, GO STRAIGHT, and slowly add throttle. If your tires spin–STOP! You’ll just sink deeper. Dig some more or find some help.

This park is an off-road vehicle recreation area. Vehicles go everywhere in the dunes. You will encounter dune buggies, ATVs, jeeps, and bikes. You can rent an ATV by the hour and go for a tour yourself!! There is also a Hummer tour and mini-dune buggies for rent!

Campfires must use raw split wood–no processed lumber as they figure there might be nails. No glass bottles allowed. No dogs off-leash. No kites (really–it scares seabirds). CLEAN UP your trash. Enjoy!

It’s an active dune area which means wind, sometimes cold. Bring a windbreaker, cap, and glasses to keep sand out of your eyes. A folding chair is nice to sit in around the fire.

Well Ebay and a company website are both good to have. Depends on the type of products being offered. For instance you could have a product on your site for $ 29.95 if the customers were to just land on your site. Also having it on Ebay, you can offer it for auction with a buy it now price of $ 29.95 if you have playroom in your price. Also you could just use it as a second website an offer it only with the buy it now price. But as for your investment, you should defenitely take some time out to come up with all the descriptive terms for your site and then use a pay per click account once up and running. This marketing targets your main field of customers, as long as you dont use terms that are too general and cover too many areas. An example is something like “Air compressor” as opposed to just compressor. There are many types of compressors, so every time someone would search for compressor, find your site and click on it, you get charged, but then they leave your site because they wanted a refrigeratoin compressor. Specifics are a major key.

In my own experience, I’ve become better at public speaking with each time I’ve done it. The larger the crowd and the more often I do it, the easier it becomes.
A more realistic approach may be to know the information that your talking about. If you don’t know what you’re speaking about, then how are you going to feel comfortable telling a large group about it? If you know more about what you’re telling, you’ll feel much better about the speaking.

Thank you for your really great answers. Unfortunately the doctor he does see is a pill pusher. How do you think he gets those prescription meds. He won’t go to another dr. because he likes getting the drugs and the brush off!!

He really needs to see a doctor. This could be a mental illness, but it could also be a physical problem. We thought that my grandmother was going senile, but then when her doctors looked at all her prescriptions it turned out she was taking medications that she shouldn’t be taking together. If your family member is self medicating this could be the case. Don’t approach it with him as a mental illness, just try to get him to go in for a routine physical and maybe the doctors can take it from there. Good luck.
